Old overgrown river park. Old boat ramp. (Closed) Park n walk. Lots of trails(rough) Willamette river changes this area every high water event in winter. Shallow river channels and islands in summer. Hike n wade to main river.
Down river is a free state park at Marshal Island. Its not labeled on the map but satellite view you can see it. Boat ramp, outhouse, and close to the river.
There is nothing here! Well who know whats under the blackberry bushes. There is a small pond and the river. This park,if you can call it that, is a breeding ground for invasive plants. The river is a bit of a walk for some people (Not disabled friendly). The walking is mostly flat. I have foot pain issues and was looking to just get off my feet. Its not a drive up and there's the river type of place. I tried fishing a bit on the river but it's more of a fly fishing spot and I was not setup for that. I wish I had tried the pond but its very small.
Lane County has got to be kidding with the fee for this park. I have a pass but I sure hope it gets better at other parks. If not then I will not renew next year.
Trash build up and homeless camps galore
Great place for pedestrians, equestrians, dog walking, pond fishing, and bird watching. Pay to park? Perhaps if there was an actual restroom. I've uploaded pics that we took today (6/12/2011). My advice: park on the side of the road and not bother with paying a fee. I think if Lane County wants to collect a fee for their parks, there ought to be amenities in exchange.

Positives - Honestly the smell of the flowering trees was very nice. If the water was a bit warmer this time of year It would be a nice place to splash around. I saw a crab apple tree in the bushes. Birds. Sorry I'm trying here.
