Our family visits frequently for local produce. As most farm stores do, there is a mix between conventional produce (shipped) and local. Seasonal produce is always local, and there are baskets, jams, honey, coffee, ice cream, popcorn, drinks, chips, sweets and other items for sale as well. EBT/Oregon Trail accepted! Goat feed (for their goats) is available for 25 cents a handful, and feeding them is always a good way to spend a few minutes. There is a really nice playground, and very popular seasonal activities, and bags of sand, gems and shells for "panning" in their man-made stream.

As a local, I advise to visit for the pumpkin patch/horse or tractor carriage ride/seasonal activities on the weekdays or early on the weekend or you will spend a large part of the day in lines.

Lone Pines is okay. They have a good variety of produce, some pretty good and interesting pumpkins and are very kid friendly. They are just a bit too commercialized for my taste.

I love the goats. You get to feed them for some change. Totally worth it. The atmosphere is wonderful. My only complaint is my raspberries got really mushy really fast this week. It has not always been like that. Lone Pine also has U-pick strawberry, flower, and pumpkin gardens. When I was a little girl my kindergarten class went to Lone Pine for a wagon ride field trip. Each of my son's had the same wonderful experience. This year according to the website there will be a day time corn maze. That's great but I will miss the haunted maze. Lone Pine is worth the trip. Oh ya the people have always been nice to me, even when I was at the haunted maze when I was h teenager. Go, have fun!

If you can, avoid the weekend lines. If you can't, make the best out of it because it is WORTH the experience!

We went this year on a Sunday and it was VERY busy. We waited an hour to ride the horse carriage, the goats and chickens were full of feed, and the wait to buy ice cream or pumpkin was 20+ line.

The cow train was a lot of fun for kids

I use to love to go here. I didn't want to believe all the horrible reviews that Lone pine has received over the last year or so. But have to agree that they have managed to hire some of the unfriendliest employees I've ever encountered.
