I don't know what all there would be to say about a grocery store. It's clean and spacious, both nice things. Other than that, it's just a grocery store. However, you can get a discount for wearing team colors during a home Beaver/Duck game.
Only real grocery store for 15+ miles in any direction. Good deli and produce departments. Pretty good Chinese food for a grocery store. Nice selection of fine cheese. Quality of staff (demeanor, helpfulness) seems to have dropped significantly since the ownership changes.
Dana at customer service is very patient and accommodating. A new employee at checkout was willing to listen to me explain about some coupons I was trying to redeem. She was polite and professional. I love the great deals I get at Safeway and I always receive exceptional customer service from the staff.
I just don't like Safeway. It's like an oversized convenience store. All the bread they bake tastes the same and the bagels are awful. I do like some of the employees though.
Typical small town Safeway. Usually good service. Good sales. Usually pretty clean. Sometimes the deli staff are awful but the food usually makes it worth putting up with. Fuel attendants are great. Great access and parking.
